Who We Are
Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union proudly serves the health care professionals (and their families) in Wisconsin. Primary employer groups are the Marshfield Clinic, St. Joseph's Hospital and Ministry Health Care. All persons working in the health care industry in Wisconsin are eligible to join. We offer a wide variety of financial products from basic savings programs to home loans. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative we serve only our members. Membership brings advantages like great loan and savings rates. More than 90 million U.S. consumers are member-owners of, and receive all or part of their financial services from, the nation's almost 9,000 credit unions
Philiosophy & Structure
Credit unions are democratically owned and controlled institutions based on "people helping people" principles. Credit union boards of directors are elected by members; each member has an equal vote, regardless of how much he or she has on deposit. Only members may serve as directors, and directors serve without compensation. Credit unions have no outside stockholders, so after reserves are set aside, earnings are returned to members in the form of higher dividends on savings, lowere loan rates and lower cost services.
Message from the President
Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union was chartered in 1965 by St. Joseph's Hospital employees who believed in the financial cooperative concept. Forty-three years later our promise to our members is to always keep their needs first. We will strive to provide great service with a personal touch.
