An MMCCU checking account offers you the savings and convenience you want to manage your personal day-to-day finances. And like our savings accounts, your money is safe!

We offer two programs for your checking needs. You can choose from Basic Checking WITH NO MONTHLY SERVICE FEE or our value-added Emerald Checking that costs only $6.50 per month. For either option, by maintaining a $300.00 average daily balance you will earn dividends as determined by the MMCCU Board of Directors and paid monthly to your account. Both accounts can be accessed with our VISA CheckLink Debit Card. Talk about convenience! There is no easier way to manage your spending and cash needs! For eligible members, a Kwik Cash Line of Credit can be added to your account for extra spending power and Courtesy Pay Overdraft Protection provides protection from returned check fees and gives you peace of mind when there is more month than money. At MMCCU we encourage responsible money management practices. It's important to keep your check register current by recording all withdrawals and balancing often. Basic Checking

There is no monthly charge for basic checking and the account may earn dividends. The dividend rates for checking are tiered. The higher the balance, the higher the dividend rate. Dividends are paid on the average daily balance at the end of each month. The Board of Directors declares the dividends of the variable rate account. Please see complete account disclosures.

Emerald Checking

Do you travel for business or for pleasure? Do you like to save money on your hotels, car rentals, and entertainment? Do you golf? Do want peace of mind when you travel? Then Emerald Checking is for you. There are many exciting features included in our Emerald Checking:

VISA CheckLink Debit Card

Your CheckLink card looks like a credit card but is a debit/ATM card. It can be set up to access your checking, savings and Kwik Cash Loan. You can make withdrawals at thousands of ATMs. Checking out at the grocery or department store has never been faster either. More and more merchants now accept this convenient way to pay.
